Looking for Cupuacu seeds
« on: June 05, 2021, 09:42:40 AM »
Hello, I am in the U.S. (Florida) and would like to try growing Cupuacu. If you have seeds you can sell or trade, let me know.

He is reliable. It’s possible he never got your message. I’ve ordered twice and all arrived timely and well packaged.
Please try again. Use the alternative email he provides on that link. Sometimes emails or texts just disappear into the twilight zone.
Good Growing to all.

Recommend Montoso Gardens, he should have Cupuacu in the coming months. In Puerto Rico, so less shipping problems.

Richard, AKA Colombo973 is a highly recommended seller
I placed an order for a few different varieties of seeds, of which I've got a very high germination rate.
One of the packs of seeds had rotted on the way over to south FL (this happens normally), and Richard replaced them with already sprouted seeds as a good faith replacement. Also paying for shipping the second time around. All throughout he communicated on any worry I had, providing information on all he knows.
He may also be busy as he goes and collects the seeds himself from the mother trees..
Good Luck!

Hello Dmax

He is on colombo403@yahoo.fr

He is a reliable vendor. But he often does not go to forum or emails. You can send and email and inquire.

I had purchased many items from him. He has Capuacu seeds now

I would gladly buy a cupuacu plant but I haven't found a source for them yet. I see from the link provided that he sells seedlings and small plants. Even better!

Shouldnt you be working Mick? The trees are one of the fastest to fruit in the genus and trees are pretty small when they get their first fruit. Mick is a reliable operator btw.

I see 9waters on etsy has capuacu seedlings for sale (I ordered one a few months ago, still see them listed there)

I don't recall seeing actual seeds for sale anywhere lately.

I got 25 cupuassu seeds from a member back in july. Fresh still had pulp. My advice is find someone with a tree and ask them to reserve seeds for you when a fruit drops. Most members from Hawaii have a couple trees that are bearing. Pay for express shipping since they can rot rather quickly.
