Till,
They do not list zygotic seeds, just monoembryonic ones. This is a very different story.

It is deeply red but tasteless.

Could you please provide more description on its taste and time of fruit maturity?
Is it the same citrus described here

According to this  there are naturalized stands of PT in Illinois, Missouri and Kansas

When I pollinated SwampLemon by IVIA pollen, 90% of seedlings had leaf morphology in between ichangensis and PT and most also had a red color of new shoots.

Morton is the best, practically no bitter taste. Thomasville is also fine, but small and is ripe only by spring.

Hamlin is certainly not a navel, but fruit cold resistance depends much on sugar (Brix) content.

So, after a month in room the fruit is completely yellow.

No seeds, rather thick albedo, skin has lemony perfume and  lost most of poncirus like odor.

Fruit is easy to juice

Juice has "soar" smell, no poncirus aftertaste, 12 Brix, bitter acidic taste,  very faint barely perceptible internal oils.

I recently found that SwampLemon PT is partially zygotic.

I am using baggy method with barely moist heat sterilized perlite.
Seeds in zip locked packets are placed on a heating mat with regulator set on 28C day and  night. Every second day I turn packet upside down.
Germination starts usually in two weeks and with fresh seeds approach 100%.

Not too wet, semi dry.

I treat them with pectinase, wash with cold tap water, keep for 10 minutes with 1% bleach, wash and put at +4C in zip lock bags in sterilized perlite.

Tedburn,
I have not measured temperatures in different places of my garden, only one sensor rather close to the house. Minus 8C one night, three days without ground defrost.
None of my unprotected citruses including three oranges grafted on high stem of PT show damage for the moment.

More recent   Japanese paper claims that C.taiwanica genetically is identical to Henka mikan and is a hybrid of Kunenbo-A tangor with Yuzu.
A similiar cross produced some other Japanese varieties including Sudachi.

I decided to keep it inside for few weeks until it turns to yellow.

Ponderosa is not true from seeds.

No, I missed its flowering.
The season was extremely hot and dry, my other inground citruses are rather late this year, probably due to the lack of water.

We expect first night freeze this week, so I decided to harvest this fruit.

Still partly green, 177 grams of weight.

I have Kabosu from the budwood that I got from Roberto. The leaves are less round and have some suspicious wrinkles.

Not really, but it is much larger now.

We have not yet had any frost by now, will pick it in the beginning of December.
