5. Oscar
6. Gerardi Dwarf
7. Silk Hope

That is very good news. Maybe I will try rooting it again using your method. Many people ask me for air layers, but I don't have time to baby air layer branches on my trees.

That's nice about the Persian. I read somewhere that they do not do good on their own roots and it's better to graft them. I have 2 large grafted Persian branches and now I see it will have it's first fruits.

Good to know, I will report back on graft vs own roots later. So far its my slowest growing mulberry, but very flavorful. Definitely one of my favorite!

Very nice, I haven't tasted any morus nigra (Persian, Black Beauty, Noir de Spain) since my grafts have not had fruits yet. I do see a few green fruits on my Persian, so I hope it ripens.

FYI:

Just to let you know that the fruits of the White Pakistan and Australian Green are identical in size and taste so maybe you only want to order the Australian Green. The only real difference is the growth rate and how easy it is to graft it. The Australian Green is easy to graft, the White Pakistan is harder to graft (success). The Australian Green is a vigorous grower, the White Pakistan is slower to grow.

I have large trees now of both varieties. I have three large White Pakistan trees which are about 7-8 years old. Two of the trees are about 10-12 ft tall, I never had to trim the top to keep it under control (growing too tall). The trunk of those trees are about 2" diameter.

The Australian Green grafted to Black Pakistan is a much larger tree. I grafted it about 5 yrs ago to my large in-ground Black Pakistan. This Australian Green branches are huge, about 4-5" diameter, the tree height is about 15-20 ft and I need to cut it back to 10 ft every year since it grows so fast.

The Red Himalayan grafted trees are also very vigorous growers. I have three in ground trees that are grafted with the Himalayan mulberry. The graft is about 5 yrs old. The largest part of the branch is about 4" in diameter on one tree, the other tree has main branch that is about 6" diameter. Both of these trees grow fast, every year they get up to 20 ft and I need to cut them back to 8-10 ft.

Hola Amigo,
I am interested in purchasing some Mulberry Cuttings. I definitely want Thai Dwarf, what aother varieties do you think would do well in our hot, humid summers?  Similar to South Florida.   I know Thai Dwarf does well here because a friend has a small one that is fruiting.  Cuttings would be shipped to Pasadena.  Thanks for some recomendations!

Ok, I will cut most of the mulberry orders this weekend and start shipping out on Monday.
Once I finish all the Advance Waiting List, then if there are still more branches, I will open it up again for the next round of orders.
