Improved selection of the red hybrid.

Improved in which way? Does the fruit faster or better tasting. How long does it takes to fruit from seeds. I heard the red takes about 2 to 3 years to fruit. I have a 2 1/2 year old red that hasnít fruit.

Better taste. Youíd have to ask others who have fruited it.
But yeah in essence itís an improved selection of the red.

2-3 years in ideal conditions. If your plant is outdoors in LA, you're most likely looking at 4-5 years.

"Regarding the Z4 it is an hybrid of the normal (red) jabuticaba. The fruit have a superior taste and seeds are relatively smaller. Productivity is also better than average." - Raulglezruiz

Just got from a friend locally here.  But they forgot how to use it.  Iíll ask another friend about it. But supposed to taste similar to regular nutmeg.
