Does Rambutan need crosspollination to fruit?
«

I ve got 3 rambutan trees in my place that are about 2 years old. All of them were grafted by the guy i purchased them from. My concern is that ive heard they need crosspollination to produce fruit and mine are not really close togther so that would be a problem
. Can anyone confirm this?

Lone asexually reproduced named variety 'rambos' can fruit on their own. They are bisex but seem to have more fruit when they have company. Seedlings are often male or female which changes the equation.
