Wow seeds are really fresh. Just talked with someone who got some seeds I sent them a few months ago. It only took about 3 weeks to sprout. I think its cause seller cold stratified them too. This is what quality seeds does.
Crazy. Like literally crazy when people are waiting months even years for these to germinate.
Anyways, we have more seeds coming in soon. Will update when they are available.
Cheers!
Also if you bought seeds from us this last update, please feel free to let us know when they sprout.

Heads up: There seems to be an issue with the Oblongata page. Regardless of one's qty selection, it cannot be added to cart.

Ok mobile site is not working but seems like computer works. I'll get that sorted out tomorrow. Don't worry, the seeds will not disappear!

We’ve added pictures of the fruits and
Al’s have fixed the issues of not adding oblongata to the cart.
I think it’s a browser issue
So if it doesn’t work then try another one?
Sorry about that lol.

Oblongata and Giant red Crystal
These are new pictures compared to the overused old ones

It says $18-34. If $18 is for 5, I'm guessing $34 is for 10, not 25, so maybe the issue is related to no price for the 25 pack? If it's $34/25 I'll buy a few.

It is $34 for 25
$18 for 5
and for 10 it's somewhere in the middle.
Once again, I'll fix it tonight.

Also, thanks to everyone who got orders in. They will ship this Monday to avoid weekend shipping delays.
I'll send a bit extra seeds to those who had to wait longer... ;)

3 packs left of giant red crystal.
We don't normally do this, but you can expect extra seeds if you order the giant red crystal. We never were going to sell it, but ended up and so the stock kinda was off. So, if you order, you can expect around 8+ seeds.

LOL funny story, but I spent some time cracking open seeds to ensure viability. My friend thought I was crazy as I had a baseball bat to crack the seeds to see viability. Well, I can tell you they are viable. There's also a short video in the description on the site.

I wish there was an easy way to crack these open to speed up germination without damaging the embryos.

People have stated that they use pruning shears. I see no reason to do this though as these seeds should come up around a month or so after planting. Normally without cold stratification or if the seeds are too old, it can take over a year. Maybe try a nutcracker?

As of 3/31/23 We now are charging shipping on orders. Just with the new seeds that will be coming in, it is not plausible to sell them in packs or factor in shipping cost to the seeds.
For our products, We have lowered the price to match shipping so you'll still be paying the same price.
We hope the suits you all well. To put this into effect, we decided to do a sale - even with shipping, you are getting a better deal.
This weekend only!

So total for biqi 10 seeds is currently only 32.49 instead of $35

We still have seeds!
They are easier than expected to crack open, and I cracked open these three to demonstrate freshness and easiness.
I only used my fingers! They are kinda like pistachios. So just find a seam - there are two halves like a pistachio and you can exploit that.

I wouldn't worry. They should come up pretty soon. If you want to try maybe experiment with one or two. But everyone who has bought from us earlier has stated that their results were great with no seed cracking and no cold strat (seeds were already stratified).

In my experience some seeds (those with visible seams) are indeed very easy to crack open. However, the majority of seeds do not have visible seams and, consequently, are very difficult to crack open safely. I use wire cutters, and I think I'm probably 1 for 4 or 5 on safely cracking open a seed which isn't already splitting with a visible seam, which is why I don't bother anymore.

It does seem like germination can take some time. I've only had one seed from my first batch (4 months ago) germinate so far. It may be best to just try to nick the shell or attempt to crack it open after allowing the seed to absorb some moisture and soften.

We are doing a spring sale
use code Spring10 to get 15 percent off all orders. Yeah, don't ask why. Should've been Spring15 lol.
Got some more seeds coming in a few weeks or so or even earlier. (legend says maybe some m.foetida?!)
I'm also going to update the blog with what's going on in the collection, our business goals and aspirations for 2023, and a quick personal update of the team.
It's been super busy this spring and I feel so tired lol despite the easiest semester I've ever had...
Get your yangmei seeds!
Have some oblongata left too!
Best,
Ryan
