How long for Grimal Jaboticaba grafts take to start showing signs of healing?
love_Tropic:
It’s been 4 weeks, no sign yet… first time with jabos. Annona normally by 4 weeks will show some signs.. nothing like that with Jabo…
Moreover, how hard is it for jabos to take a new graft?
Jaboticaba45:
I’d keep waiting
Scratch the scion to see if it’s green still
Grafting isn’t too hard, just remember to wrap rhe union very tightly
Jabba The Hutt:
Just grafted that M. Joinville sp. onto Vexator. Took 8 weeks to push.

Yes! Used rubber band to keep constant pressure…
kapps:
I usually get good takes on jabos if the rootstock is actively pushing new growth. I’ve had scions sit for weeks during the dry spring in Florida and then the day after it rains, push through the buddy tape.
