Desoto Red. Red barked very productive for me.
Togo. Silver barked, sweeter
Zaytuna. Yellowish barked, decent productivity for me
-
At what price? Thanks.
-
I'll do a box of 10 for 20 dollars
-
Have you harvested any of the tubers for food?
Just wondering which may be better to eat.
-
They all taste good. Low fiber. Togo is sweetest. Desoto Red most productive, in experience.
-
Never grown cassava, are they propagated through tubers?
-
They propagate from hardened stem cuttings. Highly recommend growing it if you live far enough south. I used to live in Sarasota which is where I was born. Grew great for me there and yielded very well.

PM send

How do they do in pots?
-
I saw a video of a guy from Louisiana the other day and he had a nice crop in a container. So that is one of my projects this summer if I can get my hands on some stem cuttings
