Tropical Fruit Discussion / Growing Lychee in orange county, CA

Hey folks! Anyone else growing Lychee in Orange County, CA? This is my first season after putting some trees in the ground. I'm curious about the timing of each stage leading to fruit. I'm getting blossoms this time of the season, but from what I know, Lychee should be ready in June. I'm just not sure if that will happen in a month. Curious what others are seeing on their trees at the moment.

I have 5 guava trees, of which two guava trees losing their leaves completely. Any ideas as to what causes Guava to lose leaves? I'm looking for a list to help diagnose the issues. I live in Southern California. Appreciate any help from the experts here.

Citrus General Discussion / Yellow stem and leaves

I have a variegated lemon tree in a pot. I noticed this season that a new branch sprouted above the graft. It is pale yellow and has 2" thorns. Anyone know what this is? First time seeing it and only on one of the several trees I have.
