Found some actually tasty ones of these yellow fruits in the woods two days ago.  They can be fairly astringent until very ripe and jelly textured. Citrus/mango notes. Anyone ever experiment with these? Trying to grow them? Im collecting seed and going to attempt germination again.

Ive seen them survive frosts when the tindora grew from beneath oak trees. exposed ive seen them grow back readily from a developed tuberous root.

Hey George,  thanks for providing this service! I am curious as to how the scions are prepared, do you cut petioles/let them drop/heal before sending? This has been an issue before when receiving scions via mail. Thanks.

Groundnut (apios americana or prieceana), Jicama (pachyrizus sp.s), dioscorea sp., sweet corn root (calathea allouia), texas ebony (ebenopsis ebano), malabar chestnut. what about oil crops? such as acorns, cocoplums, oil palms, macadamia,. there have to be some many other nuts as well..

Yes, from what I understand they should be allowed a dormancy of at least 6 months.
