Cheap red sugarcane cuttings at the Korean grocery store

Obviously intended to be used for food, but I don't see why they wouldn't sprout

Oh wow, thanks for the tip I'm pretty close by.  I been thinking of adding another cane variety.  Looks nice and a good price.  I grew out a wall of the yellow green type this year.

The trick to growing store ones is inspect the cane to find viable buds. They need to be green/hard.
Cut in sections then place horizontally below some soil.
