I have a lot of success with etsy, you can look around quite a bit and there seems to be seller somewhere on the site for EVERYTHING, most of the time people have the $35 free shipping thing going so if they're a good shop you can get a lot without paying a ton. Etsy support is really good at getting you your money back if its the wrong plant/dead on arrival etc.Small shops like to trade and stuff too, unless you have a reason to limit to ebay I'd try there
At this point there are a lot of people selling seeds and small seedlings of eugenias imported from south america, but likely have never tasted the fruit. In a year or two I think you will start seeing prices drop and availability soar for these uncommon types as all the people who bought them lately start getting fruit and selling the seeds. I am looking forward to seeing if any of these new hyped eugenias make tasty fruit.
I have a bunch of seeds from fruit that I have tasted on my site. Highly recommend the campomanesia sp as I just got a video from the collector I was with. He found the field of campomanesia last year and sent seeds to a grower in São Paulo and it flowered in less than one year! Not to mention that the seeds are already germinating. I’m sure there are plenty of buyers that can verify. It was a really good fruit. The seeds I source I either collect myself or come from the collectors themselves and at aMinimum get a reliable taste report. Www.hapajoesnursery.comHave some things on eBay this week. Rare stuff for the Christmas season.
