No disease, you got bugs; enhance the photo and you'll see them in several stages of development. I'm not familiar with what those are (someone else probably will tell you shortly), but you are going to want to spray them with something (not recommending products when I don't know what they are).

Well dang, reading that over I recognize the damage I've been seeing recently is also these little pests; thought I had sun damage. It's interesting that they are targeting my Semil 34 almost exclusively, haven't seen much/any damage on Lamb Hass.
