Biribi Atemoya was sweet and little seeds in 2023/2024 season because I use Helmut cherimoya pollens. This year Biribi is more cherimoya flavors—banana/pineapple and smell like a cherimoya with a bit of sandy texture toward the skin. Overall, it is a very good cultivar for Florida because it grows fast on sugar apple rootstock and can tolerate Florida temperatures. Foliage does not get sensitive to frost like an atemoya but fruit turn brown/dark from the winter cold.
Bumpo’s Dream is cold and heat tolerant in California. Leaves does not turn colors from the cold or burn from the summer heat like other cherimoya. I believe it will tolerate Florida hot summers.
Please provide feed back if you have grown any of my cultivars in Florida. I know Taiwanese atemoya does well in Florida and is able to fruit from feed backs.
Please resale, reproduce, or give away my cultivars. This is how I know it is a good product. Please test Ugly May, the aromatic perfume the flower produce is overpowering and the fruit flavors is excellent—-strong vanilla and banana. It is cold sensitive and looks like it is dying from the winter in San Diego so it may be an excellent south Florida variety.
