I was dragging my feet on grafting for a while and finally did a couple rounds over the last months. This is what iv done so far: about 30+ or so grafts on my large sabara, about 70% of them took. I made the mistake of not labeling anything. At first I figured it would be easy to identify because I only grafted varigated sabara, varigated red hybrid,  olho de boi and black velvet, which seemed easy to distinguish without labeling. But then i got bought a couple scions of anomaly from a forum member and grafted those on without labeling. Later that week I decided to take some scions off my polpa roxa and Zona do Mata and throw those on there. The one ill really have a hard time is the anomaly (if they actually took),  because I dont own the plant and have nothing to compare it with.

I smashed a small myc. Arborea floribunda and got a half dozen scions as the result and grafted them all onto my myc. Vexator, only one of them took

Grafted my favorite citrus "tangelo" onto a rangpour lime rootstock

Another tangelo onto a citrus rootstock the original graft failed on. Not sure what the rootstock is but the thorns on it are huge

I have made this mistake before. I work way hard now on labelling and being organized because it suuuuuucks when you can't remember what it is. As soon as it's a take, green tape comes off mine and I throw an aluminium tag on.

Grafted onto a row of 5ft sabara : unlabeled varieties are: varigated sabara and red hybrid, olho de boi, Zona,, polpa roxa, and black velvet. A few labeled grafts of branca vhino, Sanford, and novak truncifolia from forum member nissan versa. Had plenty of takes with these. This first pic looks like its Zona do mata.

Yuuup, I need to start doing the same with aluminum tags. Last year I did a bunch of grafting and tagged everything  to learn the ink ends up fading on plastic tags. Live and learn

The mulberry top work project year 2. The long shoots are last years grafts--DMOR 9, Bryce's World's Best, Australian Green, and Himilayan FSP. Grafting Pakistani (Black), Siam Jumbo, and Skinner this year. Skinner pushed too early last year and did not take. Hopefully they make it through the cold.

I have really been at it this year. I would guess I am close to 100 grafts since Jan 1.
