Fruits starts dark red and ripe light red. They are back in season so let me try and get some and open for the sake of the photo. Pulp is white with black seeds.

Hi Soren, I feel uncomfortable asking for seeds, I am in a much better place if I pay. But, if you happen across excess seeds in the future, I would be very grateful. Oh. BTW, I ended up sourcing a doz Telfairia seeds which I'm awaiting germination.

Some of the seeds started to form green mold on the outside, I sprinkled powdered sulfur to help kill off mold.
Is this similar to what we West Africans call alligator pepper, Aframomum daniellii? I have only ever used the seeds as a spice, I had no clue you could eat the fruits like that. If you have any more seeds I may have to buy some.
the aframomum seeds i got from Soren are flowering now, after about 6-7yrs...hoping they set fruits!
