wow...u r gonna have some late rosigolds if those hold!

I wouldn't worry about spraying copper...the tree is still small....its no big deal if they fall off...and it will be a good test to see how well the tree does without copper.

I was planning to plant it in a 22'' Pot , but it started Flowering before I got to re-pot it.
I'm afraid I will disturb the fruiting process.

Thanks Ed..

My indoor Mallika mango tree just put out a huge flush of new growth.  It's loving the natural sunlight that it lacked all winter.

To Ed Zone 9, per your question on 23 May,

Don't spray copper on open bloom.

Wow! Thanks Har! I didn't know you're not suppose to spray Liq. Copper on open blooms. I read the instructions on my bottle and it says

"Mangos Anthracnose 4 tsp. Apply at 30 day intervals from the time the panicles are 2 inches high until all fruits are set until August"

Copper can be sprayed on emerging bloom spikes, when 1-4 inches long.  Copper can then be sprayed again on pea-sized mango fruits, and from then on.   Just don't spray on the fully expanded bloom spike or open flowers--- it destroys them --- I've done it!

Congrats!! Don't you just love seeing those new growths especially when they are still young! You feel like the trees are happy and you're doing the right things  ;D

Handsome tree!

Looks as though you need some forked sticks to prop the branches up to keep the fruits off the ground.
