It looks like a seedling in the photo, I wonder where they got the seeds ? Otherwise never heard of it till now. Looks interesting.

there is not much information about it.
I found it in a catalog of a local nursery. This nursery has built up its stock many years ago. It still has some of the varieties from the early days, when the citrus hybrids experienced their first rise in popularity. So, out of curiosity, I ordered it. I found that there are some mentions in France and even in some collections, but no reference to their origin. I wonder what kind of hybrid it could be. I have been told that the fruit looks like a limette, but no word on fruit characteristics. Probably nothing to speculate on.... but who knows...

longispina has no petioles. excelsa does not fit at first glance either.
