This is another of the avocadoes i have in my garden. The fruits weigh 15 oz to 23 ozs, has an excellent, nutty flavour,the flesh is creamy with a golden colour. This the first time the tree is fruiting and I got 10 fruits.

I found this fruit in the Forest Research Institute,Malaysia, near Batu Caves. The seed is pushed up and falls off the shoot.

This is one of the Avocadoes I have in my garden. It weighs from 15 Ozs to 25 ozs. Is easily peelable and the skin is dark green and rough.

This Durian  was found in the forest. The leaves are like the edible durian. There is only a thin membrane over the seeds.

I received a couple of Garcinia Nitida seeds from Tradewindfruits, on Saturday after being in transit for over a week. The seeds were in wet Vermiculite? and they had sprouted, they had about half an inch of roots at one end and a quarter inch of shoot at the other end. But they look sort of dried out. Any way I soaked them in water for an hour and then placed them between moist paper towels. Today I will buy some spagnum moss and plant them in it. Can any body tell me will the seeds survive?
