just share about KEPEL
« on: April 09, 2015, 11:58:04 AM »
Hopefully not miss this year with seed Kepel. Very strong and long to grow. But do not worry I have a recipe that fast growing seeds. Ha Ha Ha
but very beautiful Kepel tree. If it were to bear fruit, such as seeing a collection of grenades in the trunk of the tree is ready to explode. Ha Ha Ha.
This rare tree only grows in Java. You will not be able to eat the fruit is still on the tree. Must wait for fall to eat. Ha Ha
And there you will find wood in fruit when not wait. You can not keep it in order to ripen like mangoes. This is the uniqueness Kepel.
Javanese people with philosophy. Kepel fruit is the fruit of the king's food. So when the tree grows, and there he blessed land. Ha Ha. only myth in Java.

flowers that grow on the stem. Very funny.

growing in the front yard of my house. Natural treats for guests. Ha Ha

Does it make you smell nice when you eat it Beni or is that just a myth?

Hello!!  I have eaten this fruit, even though the is very little pulp on the seeds, it tastes like mango. Regarding the smell, I did not notice anything. I brought some seed, but after putting out a long root they died. Beni, can you send me some seeds thru my friend who will be coming to Solo? Chandramohan.

fruiting time is very short. When are you friends will come to solo? Kepel fruit can not be stored for too long. in the near future my seeds sold out, and I would look for a new seed tomorrow.

before the seeds are planted, so in order to grow faster, soak the seeds for 24 hours with coconut water concentration of 50%. Experiment I make seeds grow within 1.5 months.
I use coconut planting medium skin smooth powder. And my light flush as much as 2x a week.
polybag I put in the shade of a mango tree and not exposed to direct sunlight. Little information may be useful.
