Anyone attempted using jiffy pots for eugenias at all, just picked some up to try with some pyriformis seeds. Not sure if there available overseas but a few aussies on here might know what im talking about? Interestad to hear what people think.

Don, I wasn't too impressed they were small (shallow) and dried out too quickly. Normal black forestry tubes are better or even long black poly bags you can get cheaply from ebay.

I agree, too small and shallow. I mostly use the deep 100mm propagating pots, they have numerous ridges that guide the roots downward. I still use Coco coir as does the Jiffy pots.

No worries, thanks for the feedback. Was worried about the water drying out but thought would give them a go but might just leave them for now. Thanks.
