Title: Camellia Sinensis in South Florida? Who Has Tea Plants?
Post by: roblack on January 10, 2022, 10:59:27 AM
Hello.

I am looking for a plant of camellia sinensis, in the South Florida/Miami area.

Open to a shipped plant as well.

PIN says they don't have them, won't for a couple of months.

Thanks!

This is the variety I am growing in Southern California.  I trialed several different strains and this did best with our alkaline water.

They have a bunch at the Lowes in Palm Bay. I think they were under $15

Lots of seeds forming here in Tx on large leaf, can send some over when they finish out. Maybe also try camforest.com?
