Could some member help we to identify if the flower buds in the attached photos are of Syzygium aromaticum ?. Some time back  I was sold a seedling of Cloves. The plant grew up and flowered. If they are clove buds, at what stage should I pick and dry them up to use them as condiment ?

 Frequently I have seeds of tropical fruits which I need to store for a year or so. Living in a tropical area with a lot of humidity,  mold is a problem.   What  easily available agents could be added to the dried seeds without compromising the germinative power of the seeds to avoid this problem?.

 When I buy papayas in a fruit store, I have noticed recently that they develop ugly spots on the outside skin after I keep them to ripen for  3-4 days. Would  welcome solutions to get rid of this problem

I had to cut a Syzygium cumini tree as its roots were compromising my tubewell. Would like to know if there is any chemical product which when applied would decompose the buried tree stump faster and avoid regrowth of the tree

I have noticed that when I plant seeds from a store bought papaya, the resulting papaya trees  produce  papayas  with an  imense quantity of seeds. Sometimes the seeds occupy almost half the volume of the fruit.  Question:    Is there a factor or a substance which stimulates the formation of seeds inf some types of fruits ?

 One of my  guava trees has leaves with motled red coloured patches. Is this  problem result of a Pest ? a  Disease ? or a nutrition problem?
 How could I remedy this in my plant ?   I have other guava trees with normal green leaves.

Some  eight year back a friend of mine visiting the brazilian amazon brought me two seeds. I planted them and today they are two trees 10 meters tall.  A week back I saw a fruit on one of them. Would appreciate if some member could identify. Adding image to this posting

Whilst  visiting Panjim, the capital city of Goa, in India I came across vendors selling this fruit by name of matoma:

  The fruit has a  cream coloured sweetish pulp.  Any help in identifying the botanical name would be appreciated.
