Any guava seeds left?

Guava trees do this if you keep them inside. Mine are doing the same when I overwinter them in my house. They drop leaves and put new growth after. Just don't over water your guava thinking it's thirsty. It will recover.

I posted pictures on this forum before I think. They will turn yellow and look nicer than the ones from the link above,  those pictures are mine by the way. I liked the taste but I can't compare to the red or green regular finger limes, never tasted them. I will post a picture of ripe yellow giant finger limes if I find it. My tree almost died this spring, just started to come back, so no new pictures of fruit, sorry.

I guess I got lucky. The one I bought at Publix was smaller and slightly giving. I left it on a counter for a few days till it started to smell and got softer. Turned out delicious.  It was about 10 pounds for $0.99 per pound.

I have Thai and Asian guava trees. Thai was tasteless the first year and got better the next. It needs to stay on a tree to get fully ripe. Asian... I don't know yet. Sets a lot of fruits, bigger in size but fruits get ugly closer to ripening.

It sounds like the one unknown variety I grow and I really liked the fruit. The best tasting very juicy.

The picture 4 looks like Pitangatuba. Plant 1 looks like Annona sp.?

Nice on growing the pups, now you can see see if the first fruit was a fluke/overripe or if the great tasting experience can be repeated. Keep us posted in time.

JoeP450, I had two plants. Another one was too young to produce fruit but did and it was 'lost' in the garden, in a small pot so the fruit was small. I didn't think it will develop at all but it did. An animal got it before me but there was a piece I could cut off and taste. The taste was the same yummy.

Wow I’ve never seen a translucent pineapple before, looks really interesting. Are you growing those pups?

I had an amazing pineapple to taste this year. Bought two plants at a Flea Market with no name tag but they looked very healthy and different from what I grow. The seller didn't know the variety name. Well, they fruited and the fruit looked long conical in shape (weird) and a bunch of pups and suckers. The whole plant looked like a bush with the hidden pineapple inside..  The taste of this pineapple blew me off. It was so sweet and juicy. It was gone in a few minutes, lol. The inside was translucent white/pale yellow. So, I thought before it was a sugarloaf but I had one before that was different. I looked it up and found a few videos on YouTube about Eleuthera pineapple and it looks very similar to what I got. Does anybody else grow this pineapple and can tell me what variety is it?
