Any info on Garcinia Dulcis “Sweet Hawaiian”? Never heard of this

When you say "guntawa" is 3x as sweet as keledang, is it overly sweet or is keledang just not that sweet?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Root stock for Ross Sapote graft

White sapote (Casimiroa edulis) and Ross sapote (Potueria campechiana subsp. or Pouteria sp.) are not in the same (nor closely related) botanical family so they would not be graft compatible.

But, I believe Ross sapote is graft-compatible with eggfruit (aka canistel or yellow sapote, Pouteria campechiana) and potentially lucuma as your second best option

Is it known whether male G. dulcis can pollinate a female Russell's sweet? I only have a single Russell's sweet but have plenty of G. dulcis growing

I believe more common Pouterias like abiu, mamey and green sapote will flower multiple times before they hold fruit especially if they are grafted. At least that has been my experience with abiu and mamey sapote and I've read so elsewhere online.

Has anyone ever tried this fruit and can report back on the taste? I believe I have a seedling of it but if people have other thoughts on what tree I have, I'm all ears.
