I have some 2 and 3 year old seedlings but no seeds left. You might try The John Fairey Garden--they're who I got my seeds and a few seedlings from. There's an adult tree that just drops its fruit on the ground every year.

The seeds arrived today and look great--thank you so much. The extras were much appreciated. I had never tasted a lemon drop mangosteen before!

I just walked down the hill and picked some dry fruits off last year's inflorescence. I got 12 seeds from the dried fruits. The seeds are tough little round spheres. My guess is that they're viable.
I also have a medium-sized offset that I could send, but they'd be a medium sized box (24in square) and I'm not sure whether they'd get intercepted in the mail to PR.
You could start with the seeds and ask me for a pup if they don't germinate...up to you.

Does your plant look like mine? I have difficulty distinguishing between B. balansae and B. pinguin, and I'd like to see what other people are calling by those names.

I don't have plants to sell, but just some experience to share: I am also not good at germinating seeds, generally, but I bought some from Luc on here last year and got 100% germination and they're all still looking good. The seeds are huge and the seedlings are very easy to keep alive as long as the soil is kept nice and acidic. Don't be afraid to start some seeds!

Another week and the ones in my area will be ripe. I have several people wanting seeds this year.

I agree with Radoslav: except for junglesop I have gotten >90% germination within 6mo from all Annona species, no need for treatments used on difficult seeds.

I had a really bad experience with Miami Fruit. My large box of soursops came almost completely crushed. There were three large fruit in the box and they only had those thin flexible foam sleeves around them--that level of padding might work for apricots or nectarines but definitely not for 4lb fruit. Only the one fruit sitting on top of the other two was intact.
I photographed the unopened box to show that several cups of liquid had leaked out after the UPS guy dropped it off. The address, tracking number, etc were all visible in this high quality photo. I then removed the smashed fruit and placed them in a large bowl and photographed them. I also provided screenshots of the PayPal receipt for the order.
I contacted Miami Fruit describing what happened and they requested the time-stamped photos, etc. After a few days they got back with me saying that my last order was over a month ago and that they would not help. Apparently when I checked out I had done it as a guest, so they were looking at my previous order history...this was an understandable mistake except that I had provided them with all of the requested time-stamped info, my PayPal information, as well as all the readable data on the package. They were being very obtuse and stonewalled me but kept answering my emails with lots of happy, chirpy exclamation-point filled messages.
I'm not ordering from them again. The customer service experience was really terrible, and the last couple of orders of fruit were not good (mameys -- not sweet, the last two of three soursop orders were also not good, but boy was that first one good!). In their last email they faulted me for not sending them photos the day the fruit arrived--I contacted them the next day--this was ridiculous goalpost moving since previously they were only requiring time-stamped photos to show the damage. Just a huge waste of time.

Anyone have any other domestic US sources of Annona fruit and/or sapote-type fruit?
