Montoso Gardens
« on: May 03, 2014, 11:03:23 PM »
Just received another shipment from Bryan at Montoso Gardens.  Nice quality plants, and exceptional packing.  Cannot believe these plants sent from Puerto Rico to California can arrive in such perfect shape.  Took quite a while to unpack due to their thoroughness.

Brian @ Montoso sets the standard on how plants should be packed and shipped. None better than him to get you perfect plants!

Couldn't agree more.

I purchased red rambutan tree and Lemon Drop Mangosteen tree seedlings from Montoso Gardens . Both were in beautiful condition and I was able to
remove the labels and adhere them to the new pots.

Plants received were Lemon Drop Mangosteen, Acachairu, Cassia Cinnamon all in 1 liter grow bags.  2 boxes, newspaper, plastic bags, all taped so nothing moved in shipment.  Bryan e-mailed that they were shipped and should arrive Mon or Tues, but they arrived Saturday in perfect condition.

Of all the plants I've had shipped to me, Montoso Garden has done the best job on packaging. Good luck with your new shipment of plants!

Thanks Ethan...I understand that you too are a master of plant packing.  Is Montoso one of the nurseries you and the group visited?

Thank you Jack, yes I try to package the plants well, otherwise why bother sending them?  :)  We've been very lucky in the past to visit Montoso Gardens on a few occasions.  Bryan in a very nice man and knows so much about trees, their property is jaw dropping beautiful!

Nice plants, Jack.
That Cassia is tempting.

I've ordered from them too.  The plants arrived in similar fashion.  Not to mention the Brunners are such good guys.  One tiny complaint ... For goodness sake I wish they would graft more.  :)
