Germinating Annona seeds, the easy way

 Hi you all here is my answer to some of the emails  I'm getting ,as to how I germinate my seeds.
I do have a germinating rig with shop lights and shelves, capable of holding several trays. But my simple way is the one I'm going to show. My wife don't care for it, but hey, that's the way it is, is my TV. watching  room , and I am  the one, that has got to look at it, I germinate, a few hundreds of seeds a year, and the  tray is the simplest way that I have found to germinate. I have germinate Annonas in 7 days this way, much faster than outdoors.
The first pic. is a very heavy aluminum pan, on top of the cable box, which generates around 75/90 degrees, free of charge, even if  the box is on or not ,the heat is there.
Second pic. is of some Annonas Ret. I just put in the tray, I will, post pics. to show how long they take to germinate, under these conditions.

Does your cable box have vents on the top where you place these trays?

By the way, you know they make heating pads for this.

I am going to present this method to the "Social Director" (read, wife).
I thought I was the only one using unorthodox ways of germinating seeds.  At one time, in the Winter, I had two (2) crockpots going 24/7 with some cooking sheets on top of them, inside a spare bathroom.  The abiu seeds germinated like a charm!  The only small problem I had was that there was mold all over the walls!   The "Social Director" loved it!  ahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha  I am still alive, and it is a good sign!  ahahahahahahahahaah

Hi Rob I have a pro germinating station , but this works very well for me , I don't recommended, I got a box wet before using a tray, sheet and clear dome , that's when I went to heavy aluminum pan . My box is vented on top + sides as well as bottom, and it still produces over 80+ degrees, in the Summer I have to use some 3/4 inch sticks to lift the pan up, because the temp. will rise to 95 +.

Hi Berto I got you beat, I have three boxes and had a pan on each one last year. The Dame though I really went nuts this time. IF you need some  Ret. seeds, just ask. My worry is for the box, not your method.  Those vents are to keep the electronics cool.  Most boxes these days have harddrives in them and if not vented properly, the box could burn up.

Rob , The bx, gets plenty of air circulation I have good air circulation on every room ,by keeping fans on at all times, also the other equipment that's there generates a lot of heat, I rent those things at $ 26. a month for 3
