Info of Gumihan fruit:

Gumihan fruit (Artocarpus sericicarpus) is not a common fruit,the tree is fast vanishing.The fruit is smaller than Marang but the taste is far superior than Marang.

Hana,

I don't think it will survive.  Gumihan is an ultra tropical fruit tree much like Marang. If you think you can grow Marang, then you can grow Gumihan. I would not recommend it. If you have greenhouse like what others are doing. You can try it. But if not, i would recommend.

I am just being honest. Most seed buyers have greenhouses especially in non tropical countries. Thats what i observed. They plant it in their greenhouse for collection.

I guess i am not typical then. Would be nice. Would love a greenhouse. Generally, i have had success with tropicals, but ultra tropicals can only exist as houseplants here. It is ok. There are many tropicals out there i can grow.
