« on: August 05, 2019, 11:17:47 AM »
Hi guys,

I bought this house from a second owner.  She doesnt know what this for or password.  Does anyone know what this is or use for? It locates right at front door and side of garage.  But there is a garage key pad in front of garage already so i dont it's for garage.

Domino makes keypad garage door openers. I have never seen that actual product but I am guessing it has something to do with the garage door. Maybe it is an old opener that they never took down?

This is probably correct. Did you unscrew it to see if you can see if the wires and where they go? They probably cut the wires and used them to plug in the new garage door keypad. If the wires are cut, you can just remove it, patch and paint. But if the wires are still there, you can just see if they are live with a multimeter and follow them to see where they go.

I reckon that's a keypad garage door opener. You could either repair it and make it work again or simply get rid of it. However, I would not recommend doing it yourself since there could be some wires you don't wanna touch. Ask an electrician or a technician to do it for you. I just googled Garage Door Repair Near Me and found lots of technicians to choose from. Do that as well! By the way, my garage door is moving unevenly, and I'd like to fix it myself. Does anybody know how I could sort this problem out?

It is remote, has a battery.
Here is the manual, explains codes, how to recode, etc:
