If you haven't been to this sale before it is probably the largest and best fruit tree sale in South Florida. I think a few members of this forum may be selling trees at the sale so if there is anything anyone is looking for in particular please feel free to ask for it in this post and the members selling will try to make sure it is available.

Does anyone know which nurseries usually participate in this sale?  Are tree prices discounted at all, or are prices generally standard?

Prices are fair to good, Excalibur usually brings a lot of stuff.. Most everything else is small local nurseries and collectors. Usually a good sale!
If you post a request prior to the sale Murahilin was good about making certain the trees were available during the previous sales!

Is there something we might wear to identify ourselves as members of this forum?  Like a sticky name badge?  Would that be cool (or dumb)? 8) or :P

I have cards printed to promote the site at the sale so get ready for some "which is the best" questioning!

People who aren't quite as well versed in tropical fruit perhaps coming here to ask "what is the best mango?", etc.

Patrick, you could have them mention the site at the regular meeting too.

I don't think they've started to graft them yet but when they do I'll see if I can get a few set aside for those on the forum from South Florida who want it.

If it works out with Excalibur,  I'd like to be on that list  :)

They are probably at least 2+ months away from being ready.  Either Murahilin or myself will break the news when ready...of course, after I get mine  :) ;) 8)

I saw two approach grafted Excalibur Red Jakfruit trees at the Palm Beach RFC sale today. One was in the holding area with my name on it. I'm glad to see such interest in this variety, I'll give it a good location in my yard.
