Does that mean the value of my spicy seedlings (yet sprouted) has increased? =)

Sorry for everyone's losses. It is frustrating, and doesn't seem necessary or even rational.

Same here, Kaz.
Maybe we should get a PO BOX address in Vegas and get all the seeds shipped there.

Yes its true, you can search about germinating llama seeds.  If you try it now without luck, you will remember this conversation and try again in 9 months with better luck.

what about Soncoya?

Yes the Australian laws are shockers when combined with the level of discretion to destroy and seize the inspectors have. The laws regarding Annonas have recently changed here and virtually all are permitted now. Thanks Raul they made it. I fell kinda naked having only 4 varieties of ilamas no new blood (sap) is just what I need.

My seeds were confiscated and destroyed by customs. 160$ and the loss of rare genetics. Nothing I can do about it. Hopefully everyone else had better luck.
In the US, you can get a “small lot seed import permit” here:
https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/ourfocus/planthealth/import-information/permits/plants-and-plant-products-permits/plants-for-planting
It’s free; you fill out the form with the countries you want to import from and “eligible taxa” for the species. I faxed it in and got the permit, labels and instructions for use emailed to me in about two weeks. I haven’t had anything confiscated using this, and the addition inspection didn’t seem to add much delay to the shipping. Might help, especially for the more expensive orders.

Got my LL from the Feds yesterday- hammer524 did you specify annona spp. from jalisco? I am noticing on the small lot seed permit you cannot select "mexico" but must specify the state in mexico seeds are coming from

For USDA seed import permit, I just have Annona seed from Mexico.  You need to have the green and yellow label on the front of the package with the permit inside with a list on inventory.  Raul mails it to the USDA office on the green and yellow label (Escondido for me).  USDA will then forward package to your address on the permit after inspection at no additional cost.

That's a bummer. I remember when I got some weird seeds from China for no apparent reason. https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/newsroom/news/sa_by_date/sa-2021/buying-seeds-plants-online

Treated with Giberic Acid and then I put them in a ziplot bag with moist coconut fiber.

Hi couldn't find the "modify" option to eliminate the "two weeks Pause" at the post title, seeds are available again there's not many left, I just feeling better now after having vaccination lack of energy symptoms  along with mess of Hurricane Nora, sorry to hear some of the seeds were taken by customs, I suggest specially in the case of large orders apply for the permit, in most places customs seem to be relax with only a few more vigilance in Florida. I'll start to contact some of you as unfortunately there's not many seeds for the demand I'll go next July to Guatemala and bring more as these varieties are a True gem 💎 and most people need to have them, they are way better than other ilamas or annonaceas I have ever tried
In The amazing complex very sweet flavor with several different notes and specially the juicyness is a great factor as most ilamas lack juice that is why they are call sometimes the cheese cake fruit.
