Please let me know what the tree of this fruit is called or if you have experience with it.
Growing right where the forest meets the beach, under a coconut weeping out to the sun. Small tree, like 3m short.
To me it tastes like Araza but less sour. The skin (exocarp) is a bit bitter so I peal it off and it comes of very easy.
Mesocarp is very soft and fibrous and does not come of the seed easy, very juicy. One large spherical seed.
I like it a lot better then Araza, smaller fruit and yeild but flavour is better.
They taste better slightly overripe if you can find one cause the wildlife like them too.
Quite a few fruit this year that I haven't seen pervious years.
