I might have to do some bark grafting if new shots dont come out.  So im looking for suggestions or recommendation for a sealer.    I checked on amazon and home depot looks like its the bonide brand or the tanglefoot ones.   I remember in one of Dr. Campbell's videos that he used a japanaese product.   Let me know what you use and where to buy it.  Thanks!

I use Tsugi Ro japanese grafting wax (Amazon) only to seal around the scions but any grafting wax would do. There is no need to seal the whole trunk cut.

Below is a bark graft of pomelos I did a couple of days ago where I used the wax:

Most of the time,  wish list items get Amazon notifications when back in stock or prices change(sales). Give it a try, add to wishlist.

Looks like Amazon doesn't carry it anymore. I bough this way back in 2014 and as you could see, I hardly ever used it.
You could use any grafting wax / paste. Trowbridge's looks good.

Liquid electrical tape also works well for sealing wounds.  It is also not as messy as wax some times is.

I use Doc Farwell grafting sealer mostly on decidious trees what I like about it is you can water it down 50% to cover scion wood. It a water soluable plastic product.
