Gold Nugget Jackfruit Australian scions available.
« on: May 04, 2022, 03:47:14 PM »
I've got a large Gold Nugget Australian jack fruit tree that has new growth coming in.

The price would be $4 each per scion. Shipping would be $5 first class, or $9 priority.

The Gold Nugget Jackfruit variety from Australia produces smaller, more round fruit than other jackfruit varieties. When ripe, the spikey skin turns golden yellow. The outer part of the Jackfruit is hard and textured. It can be kept at 8 feet.

Thanks, and sorry I can't ship outside of the US.

Hey Mark, PM sent. Here’s a picture of my little tree, how would you recommend grafting this? Please feel free to respond to my PM. Thank you

Nate

I don't own any jackfruit because I though they would grow too high but if this one is more dwarf I would give it a try. I don't have any jackfruit trees, do you plan on selling any seeds down the road?

I probably won't have any seedlings available, but any of the trees can be kept small since they fruit on the trunk. I think seedlings are real easy to get from fruit you buy in the asian markets.

I have a seedling that is recovering, after been knocked back from frost.  Maybe I should try grafting it.  I'll message you on fb Mark.

Do you have any jackfruit scions this year by any chance? I have 3 seedlings in my greenhouse I'd really like to graft :)

Yes, Lance

I have pruned the tree a few times, and the tree keeps producing. The only problem is if they set late in the summer then the fruit won't mature because of the cold.
