Leycesteria formosa - Himalayan Honeysuckle tastes terrible

This grows as a weed here and I can say it's frost hardy to at least -5C. I tried the fruit once and never again! It was terrible. Some fruit is simply rare but not useful (like maqui berry best left to the birds)
