I love Namwah. A quick google search says it has a bit of a red delicious apple, melon, and jackfruit taste. To me, Namwah is sweeter than cavendish but also has a good sub acid component. It’s a dense fruit too. Very tasty.
The nice thing about Namwah is that they grow big racks being fed with only yard waste and compost where other varieties want lots of fertilizer. While they do have thick stalks, I lost a monster rack to wind last year so they may still need propping. Mine sends out the flower at 8-9 feet
