Red Ruby guava
« on: September 25, 2022, 04:13:13 PM »
I brought a box of the taiwanese red Ruby guava.  They are delicious, crunchy, Juicy, less seeds, balance sweet and sour and not to hard, good for old man like me.  Guava flavor and firmness are lesser than the crystal, still good.  One of the best guava, the owner told me red Ruby is very productive.

I recently planted taiwanese pink guava that looks like on your picture. Plant those seeds! My white asian guava fruited on the second year from seed.

Exotica nursery carries a Thai pink which may be similar to these.  I purchased one from Exotica but it has not fruited yet

The expensive one here now is Thai Ruby seedless.
A friend paid $350 for a foot tall tree.
Taiwan version has seeds so half price.
