WTB grafted white sapote trees.

Found a grafted Vernon for $39 at the Oceanside Home Depot. Will plant it with plans to graft scions in the spring.

Vernon is supposedly quite good.

You must have some acreage if you're looking for multiple WS trees.

Not really acreage Ollie. I have between 1 and 1.5 acres of orchard. Any more would start to feel like work.

I will now have a Suebelle seedling and the Vernon in ground to accept grafts in future years. May plant a third WS to replace a useless landscape tree on a moderate slope. Regardless,I am sure just one white sapote will produce more fruit than I can shovel within a couple years. Just one more fruit crop to keep he chickens fat.

I have a few grafted trees I won't be using. They are small (2-2.5' tall) but in 15 gallon (three year old). Rainbow, Bonita Springs, Walton. I am near LAX. reyn66@gmail.com

Nettie and Cuccio can hold a ton of fruit as 10' x 12' tree's. Much more compact than other varieties.
