I am calling it "Purple Boots"
The leaves have red veins and the flowers are pigmented as well as the stigmas which look like a pair of small purple boots.

The fruit tastes like a regular passion fruit to me, but I haven't tried too many named varieties to compare. It is sweeter when it shrivels up on the counter

I received my 2 plants, they are in excellent condition, thank you.
It is different from the normal purple variety (Fredericks, purple posum, etc).

Thanks for the pics sc4001992, the red veining on leaves looks prominent compared to any other edulis i've seen
did you keep the packing material on the pots or was it just for the pics
i'd remove it to let the soil breathe if they are still covered

Yup, just been too busy with all the other fruit tree cuttings to graft and new plants I got. I will be putting both in a larger pot tomorrow so I wanted to take some photos first.

when you are up potting/ planting the cuttings make sure to raise the plant a bit at the correct level, the cuttings are settled a bit deep in the containers- good for stability but not for the trunk long term

Received my two 'Purple Boots' yesterday.  Box was a bit battered (thanks USPS) but the plants inside were fine cuz they were packed well.

Nice husky, rooted 'cuttings', thanx vnomonee!
