I can't believe that this is available free on line -- looks like a nice resource:

http://file.zums.ac.ir/ebook/128-Edible%20Medicinal%20And%20Non%20Medicinal%20Plants,%20Volume%203%20-%20Fruits=Lim%20T%20K=9400725345=Springer%20Neth.pdf

Great find John! Make sure to download it before they wise up. Springer usually charges for their publications.

Thanks for the advice, Oscar.  Already done.  I learned long ago that because something is on the web today, it may not be tomorrow -- so I make pdfs of anything that looks interesting.

Smart! I find that the information sites in S. America and Asia are especially fast at disappearing. So advise especially with those to download immediately.

I see this is links for Volume 2 and Volume 3.  Do you perhaps know where to find Volume 1?  How many volumes are there?

My copy of volume 1 is corrupted but I will check if someone has a working copy. I uploaded the first 2 volumes on another garden forum a year ago, so I will check and see if I can find someone to email me a copy of vol 1.

On a side note, I'm thinking of getting a free Dropbox account as I use my GoogleDrive to keep some take home work files on and will be changing the links to ebooks in a few.  But I will keep them available for viewing/download by everyone.

I'll put volume 1 up as soon as I get someone to bounce me a working copy.

TK Lim and Springer Publishing are up to Volume 9 at the moment BUT I can only afford to buy one or two volumes every month - what with all the other permaculture obsession expenses going on :)

If anyone can spare a few $ and buy either the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th volumes and share with us that would be nice :)

We would have to make an effort to keep track of who can buy which one so we don't double up I guess? And I broke my vol 1 ebook trying to remove Adobe DRM so that could be a problem as well.

Oh dear!!  That is ridiculously expensive!!  You only need to pawn your car? LOL

If I convert a book of $249 to my currency, then I have to pay R4180.15!!  I can do a lot with that money - maybe a month's groceries for 4 people?  That is if you don't buy expensive food.

I think we can only write it at the bottom of our wishlist.

I can either pawn my car or try to find work at a local stripclub - I think doing without my car would be a saner option LOL in any case I'll check if CandyClub is hiring.

LOL!!

Unfortunately we don't have any strip clubs nearby.  I will have to take the street corner.  If I'm lucky, I will receive R150 per client.  That means I will have to see at least 28 clients to buy one book.  Nope, I don't think it is worth it.  I also can't go without food for a month.

Also when I first put these series in my wish list the author was only up to Volume 8 - now he's up to Vol 12!!! How are we all supposed to keep up with him.
