ID on mango
« on: June 02, 2017, 03:06:53 PM »
In Hawaii. I can list a few varieties it's not : cogshall, Glenn, van dyke, rapoza, manzanilo,  ah ping, and it's obviously not pirie or Julie. I'm pretty sure it's not excel either. Anyone ?

How about flavor and fiber content? Did you try one?

Most are around one pound but some are pound and a half. Flavor isn't anything too special Or unique, it's not too far off from tasting like a manzanilo or rapoza but I'm  pretty certain it's neither , manzillo are usually not as much variance in size. They are usually late season too. it doesn't look like a rapoza and their are some fibers.
