Persimmons Graft Question

An update on this learning experience. There are signs of green growth where the previous bud had been plucked out. Picture quality is pretty bad, new phone still refuses to zoom and focus well. I did allow a root sucker to develop and it has a few leaves to support the rootstock. If this forms a bud I think I will cut that back to help push energy to the graft.
