Just wanted to say I have these, they are really good. One of the best Mulberries i've eaten in my opinion. Thanks for making the scions available, its pretty hard to find now
Can this type be rooted from cutting?
Quote from: CherimoyaDude on July 18, 2020, 01:18:00 PMCan this type be rooted from cutting? These are one of the few that can't seem to root. Even airlayering seems tough. In the nursery trade in FL I only seen them grafted (and that's if your lucky enough to find one). That's probably one of the reasons why it's hard to find.If you do manage to root it please share the details with us though.
Yeah sure I can send a few.
Brad's Red Himalayan variety is a vigorous tree, my grafts are all very nice, lots of branches, grows 6-10ft in a year if you graft to a large in ground tree. This year (now) all my grafted branches are holding many green fruits so I will be able to taste more fruits that should be full size fruits for me.
Wow Kaz your tree looks great, congrats. Hopefully Brad responds and I can get a few cuttings. I would love to add this variety to, we have a drawf everbearing tree we were just about to dig up. Hopefully we can convert it into something great.

I plan on making a cocktail Mulberry tree with my dwarf everbearing. I do like showing people how to grow plants from cuttings using it since it roots so easily.
