San Diego Sweet Tart Scion Trade
« on: September 25, 2021, 03:52:37 PM »
I'm going to be trimming a few vigorous tips off my ST Mango tree. These are pushing hard (see photos). Would like to trade with someone in San Diego that has a variety that is known to do well in our climate. Looks like there is a good weather window next week to start some grafts before the cool down. Let me know if you want to trade.

John I have some stuff to trade or you can just take some scions but honestly its pretty late to do the grafting now.  Its much better to do around June.

Brad, thanks. You're certainly right but there appears to be a good weather window that's opening up towards the middle of the week. My manila rootstock is pushing too, so seemed like I may be able to get the grafts to take. Figured it was worth a shot.
