I've never encountered that geranium-type sap smell before in another mango. I recently realized that I had, but it was never all that apparent due to other aroma influences.
Name notwithstanding, the guava mango has complex underpinnings. It often contains a strong guava aroma, but not always, and has many other aromatic qualities that get lumped as "Indian" flavored and "resinous". If the deeper dive is sought, I would note that my Guava mango seedlings have a similar sap smell to Amy, with geranium type resin. It's not as simple as the only flavor as is often the case with indochinese types, but it certainly is the resin at the forefront.
