Avocado graft

Do i need to wait until early spring next year to try graft two young avocado plants, one is 60 inches tall 29 inches.
some advice would be helpful.  thank you good people of tropical fruit forum.

You can graft now, just keep the grafted plants in shade if you can. If your plant is in ground, then just make sure to cover it for shade. It should take in a few months but don't put the plant in direct sun for 3 months, keep in partial shade if you can.
