Suggestions for Potted plants in this storm

15 and 25 gal plants...should I lay on side pointing potentially doenwind...maybe loop together with rope?

great question. Would think it depends. If it floods where you are located, on the side might not be good.

For the larger ones outside, going to try and huddle them together in protected areas, and keep them away from branches that might fall.

So thankful we had a ton of tree trimming done recently. lowers my anxiety just a tad.

I've topped and trimmed a few trees so they don't whip around as much. If its not top heavy, less likely to get slammed or broke.

Going to bring in a bunch of smaller stuff if can get the green light.

I'm no expert, but have been through a number of hurricanes and/or close calls. Here is what I do: I lay them on their sides in a protected area which will not flood. Now that I am out in the country, I put them in the thick stands of palmettos. When I lived in town, I put them in areas that by educated guesstimate will be subject to less wind. Do not put them where they could be blown into your pool. I can tell you those trees drowned. :-(
