Can I grow Jackfruit in a pot?

Is it possible to grow one and have its fruit in a 25 gal? I know it would involve immense pruning to train the trunk and get it small over a few years right? I plan on repotting it in a 1 gal, 5 gal, 15 gal, then 25 gal over the years to train it/keep it small. I'm growing it from a seed in a small half gal pot right now. any tips?

I have one in a pot as well, no fruit yet but it can be done as long as you get one of the smaller varieties. Obviously don't expect crazy amounts of fruit and you would need to trim the roots.

Probably more realistic in a 45 or 90+gal. I've seen Excalibur fruit them in giant containers.

I'm attempting this too I plan to graft one of the small fruited varieties to it (hard to find scions tho lol)

Fruiting takes a lot out of a tree. I was too lazy to remove a fruit from a tree in a 20gal pot and it killed the tree. The fruit was probably under 10 lbs, I found it rotten on the ground.

Its worth a try. I've lost a couple in the past but I'm pretty sure it was due to over saturation/root rot. So thats something to be mindful of. Hoping to get some flowers on this one in a few months.

Not entirely sure. I picked it up last season. I'm gona assume 2-3 yrs

I have two seedling jaks from a delicious Whitman fruit growing in 25 gal pots. They do flower, the fruits rot when small.  But, they are in the shade and I’m sure that impacts fruiting.

By now, they have grown out of the pots and into the ground. I’ve no idea what to do with them at this point.
