Siam Jumbo and Australian Turkey are the same cultivar from Amanda (PlantaholicUSA on Etsy).
Its a really vigorous, upright grower for me. If not for taste, great to graft onto. Although I enjoyed the taste significantly more than everbearing, there are better varieties; however, I think my crop next season will likely be more representative as this was my first crop this summer.
Not selling all of the cuttings listed here. Only will be selling the grafted tree next year once I figure out which 3 will be grafted.
For the other varieties I'm selling cuttings, go checkout the other post I have for sale. These harder to get varieties are not for sale.
So far, it looks like:
1. DMOR9
2. Sangue e Latte
3. Thom's Super Pakistan
I need to warn you guys about the Siam Jumbo / Aussie Turkey mulberry. I hear from a reliable source that it may not be anything special, the fruits may not be as large as some photos that have been posted on the web.
We should know by next summer since many people who have it will be getting fruits and we can see if it is really a nice size fruit which tastes good. I have my Siam Jumbo/Aussie from 3 different source so I should be able to compare the fruits and report back here next year.
Cool. I tried out your graftatree clip on the pecan pie lucuma scion I got from wildlands. It looks like the graft will take.
Unsure if you have encountered this but the band for me broke after two weeks or so. I stretched it out a little bit before using it because it was a little too difficult to put the band on the clip. The plant was under my patio in shade so my high temps could have been a factor. Anyway just wanted to let you know
Bubble yum bubble gum. Sweeetens properly in this cool coastal climate. How does Nata taste?
It is that time of year again and the pond apple has some fruits. Not ready to drop yet but will in a couple of weeks.
If you want some seed it will cost you, but I can send you a free fruit (you cover $10 shipping) and you can process the seeds.
My pond apple holds Cherilata well and also just got my fist soursop fruit from a graft on pond apple. For some reason, Ilama has not done well on it in my yard.
I have a few more, any late takers?
Happy to take cecropia cuttings- I have 3 independent plants
Yes, but I can't send fruit to TX.
